Benefits, Employment, Money

I am a carer on Income Support and receiving Carers Allowance. I would like to work a few hours a week but am not sure how this will affect my Income Support?

Your Income Support is already reduced because you receive Carers Allowance and you can earn up to £128 a week and still receive your Carers Allowance.  Any income you receive from employment over £20 a week will further reduce your Income Support as you can only earn £20 per week on top of Income support. If you earned £94 a week, your income support would stop.
