Children, Education and training, Money

My daughter is at college and will soon be 18. When do I stop paying child maintenance for her?

Normally child maintenance is paid for children up to age 16 but can be up to age 19 if the child is in full-time non-advanced education.  Check what level of education your daughter is studying and whether Child Benefit is being received for her.  Here is the gov.uk website and our information on child maintenance.  If you have done a calculation and feel that you shouldn’t be paying for your daughter, then you should alter this in your online account but also keep trying the CMS.
