Hi everyone,

Hope you are well. We know from the parents we support through our local services that Christmas can be difficult for lots of families. Especially if you’re on a tight budget, have tension with kids other parent, health issues, child contact issues, maybe being on your own while your kids are with their other parents etc.

I thought this could be a space for everyone to share any tips for getting through this time. If you know of any local activities and events for families that you would like to share remember to share the location. Some families like to create new traditions together when they become a single parent family, it would be lovely to hear how you have adapted to changes for your family.

My colleague Lauren recently shared a blog with some tips for activities to do with your children that might be useful to you. Please feel free to add any other suggestions you can think of.
