If you have experienced domestic abuse, you may feel frightened at the prospect of your ex-partner knowing that you are at home, and the possibility of them watching you. If they have perpetrated emotional abuse, this may be a worrying time. You may have increased concerns about child contact.

No-one who is currently shielding/self-isolating or unwell with coronavirus should be scared at home or afraid to leave. The lockdown does NOT mean you have to stay.

Contact Scotland’s Domestic Abuse and Forced Marriage Helpline or, in an emergency, call 999.
