What do you enjoy about being a single parent?
Are you proud of yourself and/or your children for what you have achieved together?
Did you know there is a national day to celebrate ‘Single parents day’ every March?
Please let us know if you have any suggestions on stories to share, or ideas on what we could be doing together to celebrate this day.
Knowing that it’s my input alone that has helped my kids grow up and thrive.
Always managing to succeed despite life throwing curveballs constantly.
Yep I know about the Single Parents Day. I’m not sure how to celebrate.

The laughs my daughter and I have and the fact that I can be as childish with her as I like because it’s just me and her.

I’m proud of the relationship we have both built despite our own personal struggles. We are a great team.

I didn’t know about this day. It would be good to have an event in a different area each time so everyone has an opportunity to be part of it.
Being A Single Parent to Two Girls big age Difference I am Proud To be a Single Parent To Both My Girls and Being a Very Proud Mum To what My Eldest Daughter Has Achieved in Life and what My Younger Daughter can Achieve In Life although she has Disabilities in which she is very aware of and How she Handles her Condition and what she wants to do in Life Being a single Parent I can Concentrate more on being a Better Mum to my Girls sadly I have never heard of Single Parents Day I would only suggest a outing that all Parents and Children are happy to attend .
The best thing about being a single parent is I’ve no one to thank but me as it’s always been just me and my boy.

Covering your tracks
You may not want other people to know that you’ve been searching for information or help from OPFS.
When browsing the internet whether on a mobile phone, tablet or computer, you leave a ‘history’ trail of pages and sites you’ve visited.
It’s impossible to completely avoid being tracked online but if you’re worried about someone knowing which sites you’ve been looking at, there are some things you can do to help cover your tracks.
If you’re using a laptop or desktop computer, try keeping another document or website open in a new tab or window while browsing. If someone comes in the room and you don’t want them to see what you’re looking at, you can quickly switch to another window or tab.
Deleting browsing history
You can delete the history of websites you’ve visited, but it’s important to know that if you delete your browsing history, someone else using the same device may notice.
If you share a tablet, mobile phone, laptop or computer with someone, they might notice that passwords or website addresses have disappeared from their history.
